The Real Concern
One of the first things parents ask about tutorial and homeschool programs is: Will my child have friends? Will they have activities? Will they miss out?
It is a fair question. Large schools offer long lists of clubs, sports, and activities. We are not going to pretend we have all of that. But what we do offer is genuine - and in many ways, better.
What We Offer
STOA Speech and Debate
STOA is a national Christian speech and debate league. Students learn to research, construct arguments, think on their feet, and speak with confidence. It is one of the most college-relevant extracurriculars available - admissions offices notice students who can articulate their ideas.
Chess Club
Chess builds strategic thinking, patience, and focus. Our chess club gives students a chance to compete and grow in a low-pressure, high-engagement environment.
Friday Enrichment
Friday enrichment is optional for all grades. These classes complement the core curriculum with hands-on learning, arts, and community activities. It is a lighter day focused on exploration and building relationships - without the pressure of graded academics.
Community at Saints
The thing that is hard to put on a brochure is the community itself. At Saints Classical:
- Students know each other. Small class sizes mean real friendships, not social hierarchies.
- Teachers know families. This is a partnership. Teachers communicate with parents through Classica and in person.
- Families share values. Everyone at Saints has chosen to be here. That shared commitment creates a different kind of community.
- The campus helps. 3.5 acres and a new 11,000 sq ft building give students room to learn, play, and grow.
What We Do Not Offer (Yet)
We want to be upfront:
- We do not currently have competitive sports teams
- We do not have a band or orchestra program
Many families at Saints participate in community sports leagues, travel teams, music lessons, and other activities on their off-days. The tutorial model gives families the flexibility to pursue those things without schedule conflicts.

Yes. Two full days of in-person classes plus optional Friday enrichment provides consistent, meaningful peer interaction. The friendships formed in a small, values-aligned community tend to be deeper than those in large schools where students rotate through hundreds of acquaintances.
Saints Classical is built on family involvement. Contact us to learn more about how our parent community stays connected throughout the year.
We do not currently offer competitive sports programs. Many families participate in community leagues, travel teams, or homeschool athletic associations. The tutorial schedule provides plenty of flexibility for athletic involvement.
